CREATED FOR WORSHIP - JESUS. LORD. KING. SAVIOR

Welcome to Mason City Community Chapel!

“you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”
-I Peter 2:5

If you’re looking for a church to call home in the Mason City area look no further than The Chapel.  We’re a body of believers united by the belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  No matter if you’re just starting to investigate the claims of Christ, or a fellow believer looking for a church home, you’re welcome at The Chapel.

Pastor Brian joined The Chapel in October 2015.  Brian has a passion for the people of Mason City and is excited to be a part of the work God is doing at The Chapel.

Chapel History…

The Chapel was founded in June 2007 after a group of 35 people decided to start a new church in Mason City.  At the first meeting a hat was passed around to collect funds to begin the new church.  After several unsuccessful attempts to find a church home the local Windsor family offered a building they had for the church.  After years of continued growth the church purchased the neighboring law office, and converted it to a sanctuary.  The church continues to grow and reach the people of Mason City.

Our Leadership..

The Chapel has a board of  church members who provide direction for the church and ensure that The Chapel holds firm to the beliefs the church was founded on.  Chapel board members can be seen active as weekly worshippers, involved in community endeavors, and part of the Mason City Community.

Our affiliation..

The Chapel is not affiliated with any denomination.  We hold firm to the scriptures for accountability and direction.
All support for The Chapel comes through tithes of Chapel members who believe in the call of The Chapel to be a body of believers that lifts up Christ to the local community and to the world.

Our beliefs.

We believe in God:
Who has created and is creating,
Who has come in the true man, Jesus,
To reconcile and make new,
Who works in us and others by his Spirit
We trust Him.
He calls us to be in his church:
To celebrate His presence,
To love and serve others,
To seek justice and resist evil,
To proclaim Jesus, crucified and risen, our judge and our hope.
In life, in death, in life beyond death,
God is with us.
We are not alone.

ABOUT THE CHAPEL

The Mason City Community Chapel was founded in 2007 by a group of believers that felt God was calling them to form a church for everyday people.  We’re non-denominational and our church is led by a pastor and church governing board.  The board is elected yearly by The Chapel members.
